Our specially trained stroke team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with access to state-of-the-art technology and resources to accurately diagnose stroke, immediately initiate treatment and facilitate rehabilitation at Alexian Brothers Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.

The staff at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village and St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates are nationally recognized for providing the highest level of stroke care possible and for having among the best stroke outcomes in the nation, including certification as stroke centers of excellence as a Comprehensive and Primary Stroke Center.

The team uses a multidisciplinary approach to provide customized care for the immediate and future needs of each patient. We were among the first programs in the country to offer the special assistance of a stroke nurse navigator to help patients live the best quality of life possible by easing their transition from hospital to home.

Jayhawk Pharmacy and Patient Supply is a locally owned and national recognized organization that has been a part of the Topeka Medical Community for over sixty years.

The OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, located in historic Victorian Village, is a 74-bed inpatient specialty hospital dedicated to restoring the functional, cognitive and medical deficits with individuals afflicted by Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Trauma, Amputation or general debility. Our CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation program staffed by an interdisciplinary team of rehab professionals led by the rehab physician. Each patient's treatment plan is customized to the personal goals and expectation of each patient and their family. In our state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation facility, the rehabilitation team works to simulate the home environment of the patient ensuring their success once they return home. Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation opened in Chattanooga in 1990 as the first freestanding, not-for-profit rehabilitation hospital in Tennessee built specifically for rehabilitation patients.

Van Matre HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital (VMHS), located at 950 S. Mulford Road in Rockford, is the only rehabilitation hospital in northern Illinois outside of the Chicago area.
