The Spaulding Stroke Research and Recovery Institute seeks to expand the clinical and translational stroke research program in the Spaulding Network, and to develop innovative clinical programs to improve recovery and quality of life for stroke survivors. The Institute is a consortium of researchers and clinicians affiliated with hospitals in the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Institute for Health Professions of the MGH. The Institute is directed by Dr. Randie Black-Schaffer, Medical Director of the Stroke Program at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Director of the Division of Stroke and Neurology in the Dept. of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School.
